Another month has past, and another 21 days of waiting for my results in the Image of the Month competition held by The Guild of Photographers. I can assure you that these 21 days pass rather slowly.
I am very proud to say that I have won a Silver award with one of my newborn images! This means so much to me as I am trying to stir my business more in the direction of newborn photography. I absolutely adore newborn babies and, although newborn sessions take much longer than a 'normal' portrait session, I enjoy them especially. Also because I feel I am forming a special bond with the parents/mother, i.e. my clients, which makes running a photography business all the more exciting and rewarding.
All Silver and Gold winning images are published on the Guild's facebook page, so please do have a look for all the other stunning photographs. They are some true gems in there.
But let's not forget the other images that won me a Bronze Bar. Once you have achieved a Gold and Silver awards, it is difficult to appreciate the bronzes.... which of course it shouldn't be! They are still awards after all and show that my images have a 'strong standard at a professional level'.
I would like to thank my friends and clients for helping me to achieve these awards! It would not be possible without you!!! I am aware that I have said that before ... but it is so true. So I may as well repeat myself :)
So, here are my 6 Bronzes and 1 Silver! I think I deserve a glass of wine tonight :)
